We’re now enrolling preschool students for the 2026-27 school year! Our last in-person tour of the school year was May 20th, but there are still opportunities for prospective families to meet the Brooklyn Preschool community in person and to see our space virtually.

Outdoor Space
At Brooklyn Preschool, kids enjoy daily outdoor time and can choose among climbing on the large play structure, building in the sandbox, swinging on the tire swing, riding trikes, cooking in the mud kitchen, running in the grass, playing in the water table on warm days, and even picking raspberries at the end of the school year!
Jellyfish Classroom (2-Year-Olds)
The indoor space for our Jellyfish class (2-year-olds) has three connected rooms that kids can move among freely. The space is bright and welcoming, with great natural light and a colorful mural.
The Jungle Room features a daily rotating arts & crafts at the table, an easel with paints and chalk, a loft with books and stuffed animals, train table, magnetic tiles, blocks, a sensory bin, and a rotating dramatic play/pretend play corner (highlights have included a pretend veterinary office, grocery store, restaurant, rocket ship, and musical instrument center).
The Action Space is a gross motor play area with rotating favorites that include a jungle gym, trampoline, gymnastics bar, ball pit, and others. The Calm Cove is a quiet activity corner with dolls, stuffed animals, puzzles, books, blankets, and pillows.
Seahorse Classroom (3 & 4-Year-Olds)
Our Seahorse classroom space (for 3 & 4-year-olds) is anchored by a spacious Great Room with an area for circle time, tabletop space for arts & crafts, and a loft. Kids also have access to two other rooms: the Studio (gross motor play area) and the Tinker Lab (art room). Like the Jellyfish space, the Seahorse space is welcoming and features natural light from large windows.
Other Opportunities to Get to Know Our Preschool
- Summer park play dates: Both enrolled and prospective families are invited to meet up at park play dates throughout the summer. This is a great way to get to know the Brooklyn co-op community and chat with other parents. Park play dates are Tuesdays from 10 am – 12 pm at the following dates/locations:
- June (beginning 6/16): Berkeley Park
- July: Westmoreland Park
- August (ending 8/18): Errol Heights Park
