Join the Brooklyn Preschool Community
Brooklyn is more than a preschool–it’s a community! Check out the video below to find out what makes Brooklyn special.
A Few Ways Brooklyn Stands Out:
- Our preschool program starts at age 2.
- We offer a part-time schedule (2 mornings/week for 2-year-olds, 3-4 mornings/week for 3-year-olds, and 3-5 mornings/week for 4-year-olds).
- Families play an active role in their child’s first school experience. Families take turns supporting our teachers in the classroom (and have a family job to help run the school).
- Community extends beyond the classroom. Weekly park playdates throughout summer, beloved events like our annual Lantern Walk, and community dine-in events at local restaurants are just a few ways families get together outside of school. Many families form lasting friendships at Brooklyn that persist for years.
- Our on-site nursery provides care for younger siblings of students in the 3- and 4-year-old class while their families volunteer in the classroom.
- Families benefit from parent education opportunities, including training on classroom conflict resolution, parenting-related speaker events at membership meetings, access to webinars, and regular small-group debriefs after school.
