Take the first step in your beekeeping journey with this incredible opportunity to attend Portland Urban Beekeepers‘ Bee School 2025! Whether you’re a budding beekeeper or simply curious about the world of honey bees, this immersive program offers everything you need to get started.

What’s Included:

• Bee School Enrollment:
  Join Portland Urban Beekeepers for their in-person Bee School session on February 8th, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Tabor Space. This comprehensive workshop covers:
  • Introduction to beekeeping
  • Equipment and setup
  • Obtaining, installing, and caring for bees
  • 1st-year management, feeding, and pest control

If you can’t attend in person, you’ll receive access to a recording of the class material to learn at your own pace.

• 1-Year Membership in Portland Urban Beekeepers:
  Connect with a supportive community of local beekeepers and gain access to the PUB learning and hands-on apiary during scheduled apiary days (spring through fall).
• “Honey Bee Biology and Beekeeping” by Dewey Caron (3rd Edition):
  Dive deep into the art and science of beekeeping with this 480-page hardcover book, a must-have resource for beekeepers of all levels. Pick up your copy at the in-person class or arrange for pickup if attending virtually.
